About
Daniel PAVEL is a television and radio host with more than 18 years in media, best known as the host of the reality show Survivor Romania, first on Kanal D and then for five seasons on PRO TV (2021–2025), filmed in the Dominican Republic.
Before media, he was an officer and engineer in the Romanian merchant navy, sailing the Atlantic on container ships, and specialized in maritime safety with a thesis on combating sea piracy. He holds an MSc in political science and diplomacy, has worked as chief editor in print and radio in Romania and Vienna, and hosts galas, summits and festivals as a master of ceremonies.
At S.A.F.E. he teaches what he practises every day: handling the pressure of exposure, reading an audience, and telling a story clearly and authentically, on stage and on camera.
